Super Eagles camp update: Zaidu, Ahmed Musa link up with squad ahead of AFCONQ
Published: June 12, 2023According to the Nigeria Football Federation, only two of the invited players summoned for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Sierra Leone have not reported for international duty, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
Today, Monday, two more players linked up with the squad in the country's commercial capital, Lagos.
Super Eagles manager Jose Peseiro now has twenty one players at his disposal following the arrival of Sivasspor winger Ahmed Musa and Porto left-back Zaidu Sanusi.
The Portuguese football tactician is still waiting to welcome one of his main players, Victor Osimhen and Fenerbahce wing-back Bright Osayi-Samuel.

The Super Eagles got down to business on Monday morning with the players in camp working out in the gym.
Twenty one Super Eagles players in camp: Zaidu, Musa, Ekong, Lookman, Aribo, Iwobi, Bassey, Ajayi, Akpoguma, Omeruo, Ndidi, Iheanacho, Awoniyi, Simon, Adeleye, Sochima, Ojo, Duru, Samuel, Divine, Onyeka.
