Nottingham Forest have announced provisional squad numbers for the 2023-2024 season, with three Super Eagles players Emmanuel Dennis, Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi allocated kit numbers.
The two-time European champions have handed the number 43 jersey to Aina who just joined this summer.
Nottingham Forest's number 43 shirt has been worn by George Shelvey, Baba Fernandes, George Shelvey, Arvin Appiah, Jordan Smith, Ross Durrant and Nialle Rodney in the past.
Awoniyi still retains the number 9 jersey which was also won by retired striker of Niger Dele Adebola and Manchester United legend Roy Keane during their days at the club.
Dennis whose future at the club is uncertain also retains the number 25 jersey from last season.
Forest have also made it known that the squad numbers could be changed after the closure of the transfer window.
Steve Cooper's side begin their campaign against Arsenal tomorrow at the Emirates Stadium.
Dennis and Aina are in contention to feature for Cooper's side while Awoniyi is rated as doubtful.
