Madueke trains fully with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge ahead of visit of Liverpool

2023 European U21 champion with England, Noni Madueke has put himself in contention to be named in Chelsea's gameday squad for their Premier League opener against Liverpool on Sunday, August 13.
The flamboyant winger trained fully with the rest of his teammates at Stamford Bridge on Friday ahead of the visit of the Reds to the English capital.
Chelsea's Argentine manager Mauricio Pochettino could not count on the services of the Super Eagles-eligible player during pre-season preparations due to a hamstring injury.
The ailment saw him miss the friendlies with Wrexham, Brighton & Hove, Newcastle United, Fulham and Borussia Dortmund.
Through their official website, Chelsea have listed the players that will miss the encounter against Jurgen Klopp's side and the name of the young winger was missing.
Benoit Badiashile, Marcus Bettinelli, Armando Broja, Trevoh Chalobah, Wesley Fofana and Christopher Nkunku are all set to miss the club's Premier League opener.
Madueke had a slow start to life at Stamford Bridge last season as he only made the starting XI on seven of the 16 times he was named in the matchday squad in the Premier League and was also excluded from the club's UEFA Champions League roster for the knockout stage.
The former PSV Eindhoven man finally got his mojo back at the back end of the season when he started five of the last six league games played by Chelsea and scored one goal.
