Confirmed: Belgian club KV Kortrijk loan in Liverpool alum Ojo from Cardiff City

Though their official website, Belgian Pro League club KV Kortrijk have announced the signing of Liverpool product Sheyi Ojo.
The Cardiff City-owned winger will spend the remainder of the 2023-2024 season on loan at K.V. Kortrijk.
Ojo is the second Bluebird to move on loan to K.V. Kortrijk in the summer transfer window, following in the footsteps of Wales U21 international striker Isaak Davies.
The Anglo-Nigerian player helped Cardiff City progress to the second round of the Carabao Cup last Wednesday, coming off the bench to score a penalty in the shootout win versus Colchester United.
Ojo made his Premier League debut for Liverpool in a 3-2 loss away at Southampton in March 2016 and totaled thirteen appearances for the Reds in various competitions before ending his 11-year association with the club at the end of the 2021-2022 season.
An U20 World Cup winner with the Young Lions in 2017, he took in loan spells at Wigan Athletic, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fulham, Reims, Glasgow Rangers, Cardiff City and Millwall during his time at Anfield.
Ojo has registered fourteen goal involvements (7 goals, 7 assists) in 82 all-competition appearances for Cardiff City.
Austin Eguavoen, Imoh Ezekiel, Abdul Ajagun and Terem Moffi have worn the colours of K.V. Kortrijk in the past.
