Transfer guru Romano reveals Monaco are preparing new bid for Tottenham target Tosin
Published: August 21, 2023
Monaco are not ready to give up on their pursuit of Nigerian central defender Tosin Adarabioyo with Fulham rejecting their first two bids for the Manchester City Academy product.
The right-footed centre-back has also been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur with Frank Trimboli, the agent in charge of negotiating his exit from Craven Cottage, doing everything possible to make him move to Spurs
However, Tosin has insisted that he doesn't want to move to Spurs as he would prefer a transfer to Monaco.
According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, the French Ligue 1 outfit are ready to submit a new formal bid for the Fulham defender.
Monaco consider the 27-year-old a priority target for their centre-back position and are determined to get him on their books before the end of the transfer window.
Tosin seems to have fallen out with the Cottagers' hierarchy after he refused to sign a new contract, with his current deal expiring at the end of this season.
He has been omitted by Marco Silva in the club's first two games of the new Premier League season.
