Official: German-born 2017 Super Eagles invitee joins Arminia Bielefeld
Published: August 31, 2023Arminia Bielefeld have bolstered their attack with the capture of 2017 Super Eagles invitee Noah Sarenren Bazee, the 3.Liga club announced through their official website on Thursday morning.
The length and financial terms of the contract have not been disclosed by Arminia Bielefeld.
Bazee has decided to move on to pastures new a year before the expiration of his contract with Augsburg because he wasn't receiving the game time he was hoping for at the Bundesliga outfit.
The winger moved to Augsburg from Hannover 96 in July 2019, scoring two goals in 32 all-competition appearances for the club.
Several injuries curtailed his appearances for Augsburg and he will be aiming to get his career back on track at Arminia Bielefeld.
The German-born player trained for the first time with his new teammates at Arminia Bielefeld on Thursday morning ahead of their upcoming third tier clash with Viktoria Köln.
He spent the formative years of his career with the youth teams of SSV Südwinsen, TuS Celle FC, JFC Allertal and TSV Havelse.
Bazee, who trained with the Super Eagles in London in March 2017, has been allocated the number 37 shirt at Arminia Bielefeld.
