Talented midfielder Nwaneri misses out on Arsenal Goal of the Month award to Saka

Talented England underage international of Nigerian descent, Ethan Nwaneri has missed out on Arsenal's Goal of the Month award for August 2023.
The Gunners confirmed on their official website on Monday that Bukayo Saka's superb strike against Nottingham Forest has been chosen by supporters as Arsenal's Goal of the Month for August.
With 32 minutes on the clock, Nottingham Forest were guilty of not being able to clear their lines as they had the opportunity to get the ball out a couple of times.
After Morgan Gibbs-White lost the ball, it was played infield to Bukayo Saka, who curled into the top corner for what eventually proved to be the game-winning goal.
The onetime Nigeria Football Federation target saw off competition from Nwaneri and three other contenders in the shape of Eddie Nketiah, James Sweet and Louie Copley to win the monthly accolade.
Nwaneri's brilliant left-footed finish from inside the box in a Premier League 2 meeting against Leicester City on August 18 was nominated for the award.
The 16-year-old has now missed out on Arsenal Goal of the Month award for November and December 2022, February, April and August this year.
He was named in the England U18 squad for international matches this month but did not make his debut for the age group.
