Top European clubs are battling to sign Club Brugge's Super Eagles-eligible winger Antonio Nusa ahead of the January transfer window.

Chelsea attempted to bring the Norway international to Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window but saw their 30 million euros bid rejected by Club Brugge on deadline day.

The Blues still retain an interest in the precocious teenager who is under contract with his Belgian club until June 30, 2027.

Nusa has seen his stock sky rocket of late, having forced his way into Club Brugge's starting lineup in the new season, making seven out of a possible eleven starts in all competitions for the Belgian side.

According to Spanish sports daily Mundo Deportivo,  the progress he has made at Club Brugge has aroused the interest of European giants including Real Madrid, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City.

The aforementioned Premier League and La Liga clubs have placed Nusa on their radar with a view to making a bid for his services in the future.

At the age of 16 years and 43 days, Nusa has already made his professional debut, coming off the bench for the last 12 minutes of Stabæk Fotball's 4-2 loss to Rosenborg, becoming the youngest player of Nigerian descent to make an appearance in the Norwegian Eliteserien in the process.

The 18-year-old is set to make his competitive debut for Norway's senior national team on Tuesday evening when they take on Georgia in a 2024 European Championship qualifier at the Ullevaal Stadium.

Nusa is looked after by Oslo-based Nigerian agent Atta Aneke who has close ties with Chelsea.
