Liverpool target Dorgu joins agency that represents five Tottenham first team stars including Son, Maddison
Published: November 11, 2023
Talented Danish-born Nigerian fullback Patrick Dorgu has joined one of the biggest agency companies in the world, CAA Base ahead of a possible transfer in the near future.
It is known that CAA Base has close links with those upstairs at Tottenham Hotspur and also look after five of their first team players, namely James Maddison, Heung-min Son, Richarlison, Pedro Porro and Pape Matar Sarr.
CAA Base attempted to move Nigerian central defender Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham to Tottenham but a transfer did not materialize before the summer window closed for business.
Dorgu has broken into Lecce's first team this season, having featured in all the matches contested by the Giallorossi in the Serie A and Coppa Italia in 2023-2024.
Liverpool have expressed an interest in signing the Danish-Nigerian wonderkid after a string of impressive displays for Lecce's youth team last season and have extensively scouted the defender ahead of a possible transfer.
CAA Base announced Dorgu as their new client on Thursday, adding that the left-back is one of the biggest talents in the Italian Serie A.
The 19-year-old was previously represented by Kingsley Ogbodo, a former footballer turned agent and widely regarded in these parts as Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho's man Friday.
CAA Base revealed that Dorgu has joined the agency in collaboration with his agent Kingsley Ogbodo.
