FA Cup wrap: Osula scores his first senior goals for Sheffield United; Watford's Dele-Bashiru nets injury time winner

A round-up of Nigerian players who were on target for their respective clubs in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday, January 6, 2024.
At the Priestfield Stadium, Sheffield United thrashed Gillingham FC 4-0 to advance to the next round, with Denmark U21 international William Osula netting his first goals for the Blades.
Fourteen minutes into the contest, Osula broke the deadlock when he drove forward and fired the ball into the bottom corner and he got his second of the game in the 39th minute with a close range strike after Femi Seriki's effort from distance was palmed into his path.
The 20-year-old logged 677 minutes in total spread across twenty games in all competitions before scoring his first goal in Sheffield United colours.
The powerful striker netted five goals in 21 games during a loan spell with Derby County in the first half of last season.
Elsewhere, former Nigeria U23 international Tom Dele-Bashiru netted a stoppage time winner as Watford came from behind to beat Chesterfield 2-1 at Vicarage Road.
Just as it looked as if the game was heading for a replay after Mileta Rajovic's 76th minute goal canceled out Joe Quigley's first half opener, Dele-Bashiru popped up with the winning goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
The Manchester City academy product beat his man with some neat footwork and smashed the ball past goalkeeper Ryan Boot.
Dele-Bashiru has played mostly as a right-back in recent games for the Hornets but was moved to his preferred midfield position in the second half of the clash against Chesterfield.
