Juventus ready to compete with Manchester United for 2021 Super Eagles invitee
Published: February 20, 2024
Juventus are ready to compete with Manchester United for the signing of 2021 Super Eagles invitee Michael Olise and have already devised a plan to make that happen.
According to The Telegraph UK, the Italian giants are ready to offer a player in part-exchange for the brilliant Crystal Palace forward this summer.
The Old Lady have chosen Matías Soulé who has been in good form on loan at Frosinone as the player to be used in the part-exchange deal.
Olise has been one of the most in-form forwards in the Premier League since last season and it was no surprise that Chelsea attempted to sign him last summer but he decided to stay put at Selhurst Park by signing a new four-year deal.
With the French-Nigerian forward continuing his impressive form for the Eagles this term, scoring 6 goals and three assists in 11 appearances, it is only a matter of time before he leaves the club for a club with a bigger ambition.
He is currently recovering from a hamstring injury and missed Crystal Palace's loss to Chelsea and the 1-1 draw with Everton last night.
Olise is also likely to miss their first game under new manager Oliver Glasner against Burnley on Saturday.
