Four current Super Eagles players who have beaten Les Aigles as Nigeria prepare to face Mali 

Nigeria will conclude their March internationals with a friendly against Mali at the Stade de Marrakech, kickoff 2100 hours Nigerian time on Tuesday, March 26.

In Finidi George's first game in the dugout, the Super Eagles registered their first win over Ghana in eighteen years courtesy of strikes from Cyriel Dessers and Ademola Lookman, while Black Stars captain Jordan  Ayew scored a consolation in stoppage time.

The Super Eagles have not lost to Mali since suffering a 4-1 defeat  to their West African rivals in September 1975.

Of the eleven times both nations have faced off, the Super Eagles have gotten the better of the Malians, having registered six wins compared to Mali's two, while the two countries have drawn three games.

Kenneth Omeruo, Kelechi Iheanacho, Moses Simon and Alex Iwobi have helped Nigeria register wins against Mali.

Elderson Echiejile, Brown Ideye, Emmanuel Emenike and Ahmed Musa found the net to kill the game as a contest inside one hour. 

The then rookie defender Kenneth Omeruo, who is the captain of the Super Eagles for the training camp in Morocco, played the full game at the age of 19 years and 112 days and gave a good account of himself.

The Super Eagles' most recent win against Mali came in a friendly staged at Stade Robert Diochon in 2016.

Kelechi Iheanacho netted what proved to be the game-winning goal with a composed close range finish in the 77th minute after he was teed up by Michael Babatunde. 

Alex Iwobi and Moses Simon started from the off, super-sub Iheanacho hopped off the bench in the 74th minute, while Kenneth Omeruo was an unused substitute.
