Tottenham keen on deal for Super Eagles-eligible striker but face competition from Arsenal, West Ham

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing one-cap England international of Nigerian descent Dominic Solanke in the summer transfer window but face competition from two other London clubs.
According to Football Insider, Tottenham, Arsenal and West Ham United are all interested in signing the Super Eagles-eligible center forward.
The Hammers attempted to sign the Bournemouth star last summer but a deal did not materialize.
Solanke is a wanted man due to his impressive form for the Cherries this season, with seventeen goals in the Premier League.
No player of Nigerian descent has scored as many goals as the Chelsea academy graduate in the top five European Leagues this season.
Solanke's form has led to speculation that he could be considered for the England squad for this summer's European Championship, although the likes of Bayern Munich's Harry Kane, Brentford's Ivan Toney and Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins are ahead of him in Gareth Southgate pecking order of strikers.
With a Whoscored rating of 7.08, Solanke is Bournemouth's top-performing player in the English top-flight this term.
When Solanke found the net against Manchester United last weekend, he set a new record for the highest number of goals scored by a Bournemouth player in a single Premier League season, surpassing Joshua King who managed 16 goals in 2016-2017.
Tottenham are prepared to allocate significant funds from their summer transfer budget towards acquiring a new striker, while Arsenal want to bolster their attack with a proven goalscorer.
Solanke is under contract with Bournemouth until the end of the 2026-2027 season.
