2008-born CB eligible for Nigeria, England, Poland joins Newcastle United from Everton

English Premier League club Newcastle United are set to confirm the signing of teenage central defender Aaron Epia.
Epia has been offered a contract by the Magpies after a successful trial, during which he excelled in U18 Premier League matches against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leeds United.
According to youth team reporter, The Secret Scout, 2008-born left sided centre-back Aaron Epia has signed a contract with Newcastle United after leaving Everton.
Football runs in Aaron's veins as his father Ezekiel Epia was a footballer in his native Nigeria before relocating to England.
The 16-year-old is also eligible to represent Poland through his Polish mother and England where he was raised.
Aaron Epia accepted to train with Poland's U15 team in the summer of 2022 after he was scouted by Maciej Chorążyk, the head of PZPN scouting, who monitors players with Polish roots.
The promising defender was on the books of Manchester City before choosing to join Everton, with as many as twenty clubs reportedly interested in his signature.
Epia is expected to be among the new intake of Newcastle United's academy scholars for the 2024-2025 season.
