West Ham, Monza, Bologna among clubs interested in signing Super Eagles CB Torunarigha

More European clubs have joined the race to sign German-born Nigeria international Jordan Torunarigha.
According to Italians sports newspaper Tuttosport, via Tuttomercatoweb, Premier League club West Ham United as well as Monza and Bologna are interested in signing the Gent central defender in the ongoing transfer window.
Jordan Torunarigha was previously linked with Torino, Crystal Palace, Leeds United, Hoffenheim and VfB Stuttgart
Torino are in the market for a central defender and the Super Eagles star has emerged as a possible signing for the Maroons.
Given that he is in the final year of his contract at Gent, the Belgian top flight club are open to the sale of the Nigerian provided their asking price is met by one of his suitors.
Gent value the centre-back at between 7 and 8 million euros, taking into account his contract is expiring on June 30, 2025.
Due to a minor injury and ongoing speculation about his future, Torunarigha has not played in any of Gent's four games so far this season.
He was a non-playing substitute against Víkingur in the second qualifying round, first leg of the UEFA Conference League qualifiers, and was not called up for the return leg plus the Jupiler Pro League clashes with KV Kortrijk and FCV Dender EH.
He has appeared in 104 official matches for The Buffalos, including 94 starts, and won the Belgian Cup in 2021-2022.
