Oyedele trains with Man Utd new signings Matthijs de Ligt , Mazraoui pre-Fulham

Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag is running the rule over tri-national midfielder Maxi Oyedele ahead of his side's Premier League opener against Fulham at Old Trafford, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The English-Polish-Nigerian defensive midfielder was invited to train with the first teamers in their penultimate workout before the visit of the Cottagers.
Oyedele trained alongside Manchester United brand new signings Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui at Carrington Training Ground on August 14, 2024.
The Ajax Amsterdam alums completed their transfers to Manchester United on Tuesday and trained with their new teammates the following day.
Oyedele has had a proper pre-season with the first team, having traveled with the squad to the United States, where he featured in friendly matches against Arsenal, Real Betis and Liverpool.
Prior to the trip to the United States, the highly-rated teenager was given minutes in matches with Rosenborg and Rangers, coming off the bench in all the matches, and got an assist against the Light Blues.
Oyedele was not called up for the first competitive game played by the Red Devils, against Manchester City in the Community Shield, fueling speculation that he could be loaned out before the close of the summer transfer window.
He has already been loaned out to lower-league clubs in England twice by Manchester United, playing for Altrincham in 2003 and Forest Green Rovers in 2024.
As an U21 player, the versatile midfielder is eligible for inclusion in Manchester United's Premier League squad.
Oyedele is in contention to play for Poland's youth team in the first international break of the 2024-2025 season as he has been named to the provisional roster for the U20 Elite League game versus Portugal.
