Chelsea coach Maresca insists he's happy with Jackson amid links with Osimhen and Ivan Toney

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has insisted that he is happy with Nicolas Jackson amid speculation linking the Londoners with Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney ahead of the close of the summer transfer window.
Jackson has been erratic in front of goal since joining the Blues last summer and has been a subject of criticism with former Nigeria international John Obi Mikel being one of his critics.
According to various reports, the Blues are in search of a striker ahead of Friday's deadline, and they have been strongly linked with Osimhen and Toney as a result, evidence which suggests that the Blues aren't confident with the Senegalese striker.
The two-time European champion are reportedly in talks with the Napoli star regarding a switch to the club, and the striker is open to joining the club provided his demands are met.
With the possibility of failing in their pursuit to land the Super Eagles forward, they have set sights on Toney as an alternative with the English striker keen on leaving Brentford this summer.
Speaking ahead of the second-leg clash with Servette in the UEFA Europa Conference League play-off tomorrow, Maresca has stated that he is satisfied with Jackson.
Asked for his comments on Chelsea's links with Osimhen and Toney and what it means for Jackson, Maresca was quoted as saying by Football.London, "I didn't speak to Nicolas about this. I had a meeting with Nicolas yesterday but just about the amount of good things he is doing with us.
"I don't think Nicolas needs a chat. He is our nine, our striker in this moment. We are very happy with him."
Jackson opened his goal-scoring account last weekend when Chelsea blew Wolverhampton Wanderers 6-2 at the Molineux and will be hoping to add to his tally against Servette at the Stade de Genève tomorrow.
