Benin's head coach, Gernot Rohr, has named a 25-man list for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualification games against the Super Eagles and Libya.
The list includes Burnley striker Andreas Hountondji, skipper Steve Mounié (Augsburg) and Jodel Dossou, both of whom were on the scoresheet against Nigeria in the 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifiers in June.
Lagos-born Lorient forward Tosin Aiyegun who was scouted by Rohr during his spell as Super Eagles coach is set to add to his international caps for the Cheetahs, as he has been included on the roster.
Rohr has three goalkeepers, nine defenders, eight midfielders and five forwards for the upcoming AFCON qualification games.
Benin will face the Super Eagles in their game on September 7 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium before squaring up against Libya at the Stade Félix-Houphouët-Boigny, which is their adopted home ground.
