Wolves priced out of move for quad-national winger eligible for Nigeria, Canada, United States, Italy

Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to miss out on signing quad-national player Luca Koleosho, who is eligible to represent the national teams of Nigeria, Canada, United States and Italy at senior level.
According to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Burnley winger has been valued at €40m, a valuation which has been deemed excessive by Wolves.
The Wanderers had been targeting a move for the American-born forward as a replacement for Pedro Neto, who has left for Chelsea but will now have to contend with the available options in their squad or look elsewhere.
Gary O'Neil has plenty of winger options to choose from already with Hwang Hee-Chan, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, Pablo Sarabia, Chiquinho, Gonçalo Guedes and Daniel Podence.
With Wolves giving up on a deal for Koleosho, the talented winger is now set to stay at Burnley for another season, provided the Clarets don't accept a late bid for him.
He joined the Clarets upon their promotion to the Premier League last season but injury prevented him from playing a part in helping the club retain their top-flight status, having featured in fifteen Premier League games.
He made his English Championship debut against Luton Town and opened his goal-scoring account in the English second-tier division against Cardiff City.
The 19-year-old missed Burnley's clash with Sunderland last weekend and was absent for the game against Wolves yesterday but could return for Saturday's clash with Blackburn Rovers, as revealed by his manager, Scott Parker, in his pre-match conference today.
