Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers interested in signing Fulham-reared forward Jasper

Football League clubs Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers are interested in signing Fulham-reared forward Sylvester Jasper.
Born in London to a Nigerian father and Bulgarian mother making him eligible to represent three nations, Jasper is provisionally cap-tied to Bulgaria, having represented them in a European U21 Championship qualifier back in 2021.
Before playing competitively for Bulgaria, he earned caps for England at U15 and U16 levels.
The 22-year-old, who was on the books of Fulham for eleven years before moving on to pastures new, is currently a free agent after mutually terminating his contract with Portuguese club Portimonense last month.
According to Football Insider, Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers have made moves to sign former Fulham winger Sylvester Jasper on a free transfer.
Apart from the two English clubs, Dutch Eredivisie team NAC Breda are also monitoring his situation.
He has played in the Football League before, with eighteen appearances under his belt in the League Two during a loan spell at Colchester United in 2021-2022, and the following season he appeared in six matches in the League One while on loan at Bristol Rovers.
Jasper was loaned out to Scottish outfit Hibernian in the second half of the 2021-2022 season, where he logged sixteen appearances.
In his first season at Portimonense, he was a regular starter but lost his spot in the team at the backend of the campaign.
