'Like an Arsenal B team' - Ezra Collective's Femi reveals why he wants Fulham to beat West Ham
Published: September 13, 2024
Bandleader of Ezra Collective, Femi Koleoso who is of Nigerian descent, has revealed why he wants Fulham to beat West Ham United in a Premier League London derby scheduled to hold at Craven Cottage on Saturday, September 14.
As an Arsenal supporter, Femi Koleoso is rooting for the Cottagers to overcome the Hammers, primarily because Fulham boasts four players with ties to his favorite club.
Apart from Hale End Academy products Alex Iwobi, Emile Smth Rowe and Reiss Nelson, former Arsenal star Bernd Leno is the first choice goalkeeper at Fulham.
Former Brazil international Willian, who sealed a summer move to Olympiakos, played for the Cottagers for two years following his departure from Arsenal.
Emile Smth Rowe and Nelson switched to Fulham in August, with the midfielder joining on a permanent deal and the winger loaned in for the remainder of the season, while Iwobi was acquired from Everton in the summer of 2023.
Femi Koleoso rightly pointed out that Fulham resembles an Arsenal reserve squad, given the payers that have swapped the Emirates Stadium for Craven Cottage in recent years.
Giving his predictions on the upcoming Premier League fixtures, Femi said to the BBC, : "I am going to go with my heart - I want Fulham to win because of Emile Smith Rowe, Alex Iwobi and Reiss Nelson.
"They have become like an Arsenal B team really. 2-1".
Nigeria internationals Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey have started each of the three games played by Fulham in the Premier League.
