Chelsea willing to offer Chukwuemeka, centre-back and forward in exchange for 2022 World Cup winner

2022 World Cup winner with Argentina, Lautaro Martinez is being linked with a departure from Inter Milan despite signing a new multi-year contract with the Italian champions last month.
According to Argentinian media Dobleamarilla.com.ar, the Blues are ready to offer three players in exchange for the prolific striker.
The players in question are English-Austrian-Nigerian midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka, Ukrainian forward Mykhaylo Mudryk and France international centre-back Benoit Badiashile.
Chukwuemeka, Mudryk and Badiashile are out of favour under new Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca, having made only one start between them since the start of this season's Premier League.
Chelsea prioritized the signing of a prolific striker during the summer transfer window, with Victor Osimhen on top of their wishlist.
However, the reigning African Footballer of the Year was not motivated to join Chelsea because their contract offer dd not meet his wage demands and he eventually sealed a season-long loan move to Galatasaray after the close of the summer transfer window in the top five European leagues.
The potential use of Chukwuemeka, Mudryk and Badiashile as makeweights in the deal would potentially reduce the cost of signing Lautaro Martinez, who is considered the biggest star at Inter Milan.
Chukwuemeka was linked with possible moves to Barcelona, AC Milan, Galatasaray, Crystal Palace and Manchester United but remained at Stamford Bridge at the close of the summer window.
Signed from Aston Villa in August 2022, the England youth international has a contract with Chelsea until June 30, 2028.
