Onuachu, Aribo, Ugochukwu in action as Salah inspires Liverpool to 3-2 win against Southampton

Paul Onuachu, Joe Aribo and Lesley Ugochukwu were in action as Mohamed Salah inspired Liverpool to a 3-2 win over Southampton in the Premier League fixture played at St.Mary's on Sunday afternoon.
Onuachu was involved in the Saints’ first goal when he dispossessed Virgil van Dijk.
The ball was picked up by Tyler Dibling, who charged towards the Liverpool defence, and he was brought down in the penalty area, which resulted in a spot kick.
Stuart Armstrong stepped up to convert the penalty, but it was saved by Caoimhín Kelleher.
Luckily, the rebound fell towards him, and he put the ball into the back of the net to put the Saints back on level terms after Dominik Szoboszlai had given the Reds the lead.
Mateus Fernandes put Southampton ahead with a superb finish after he was perfectly set up by Armstrong, four minutes before the hour mark.
Salah then put Liverpool back on level terms with an expert one-time finish as the goalkeeper Alex McCarthy was caught in no man's land.
The Egyptian forward went on to give Arne Slot's side the winning goal in the 83rd minute from the penalty spot after Yukinari Sugawara was adjudged to have committed a handball.
Unfortunately for Onuachu, he had to be taken off in the 51st minute and was replaced by Ugochukwu due to injury after Cody Gakpo had brought him down
The Super Eagles striker was handed his first start of the season and his first in the Premier League since a 2-0 loss to Fulham on May 13, 2023.
Ugochukwu has not started a Premier League game since the 3-1 defeat to AFC Bournemouth in September and has just two starts in the Premier League this term.
Aribo was named among the substitutes for the fixture against Liverpool but had to come on in the 37th minute due to the injury picked up by Adam Lallana.
