'These guys' - Pundit claims not even Real Madrid matches Galatasaray attack with Osimhen and co
Published: February 13, 2025
Galatasaray’s attacking lineup has been hailed as one of the strongest in European football following the club’s mid-season transfer activity.
The Turkish giants bolstered their squad with some impressive signings, including the acquisition of Spanish striker Alvaro Morata, a move that has made waves in football circles.
While the club’s attack, featuring the likes of Mauro Icardi, Victor Osimhen, and now Morata, has always been formidable, the latest signings have only strengthened its reputation.
Haluk Yürekli, a well-known football pundit, recently shared his thoughts on Galatasaray’s offensive prowess during an appearance on the 343 Digital YouTube channel.
"Someone who doesn’t know Galatasaray on paper, when they look at the Galatasaray squad and see Icardi, Osimhen, Morata, they get the feeling 'These guys aren’t even in Real Madrid," Yürekli said on the 343 Digital YouTube channel, via habersarikirmizi.com.
His comments emphasize the depth and quality of Galatasaray’s forward line, which many now believe can rival even the best in Europe.
The addition of Morata in particular has added significant firepower to an already potent strike force.
The Spanish striker, with his vast experience in some of Europe’s top leagues including Real Madrid, Juventus, and Atlético Madrid, is expected to be a key figure in Galatasaray’s pursuit of both domestic and European glory.
With Icardi, Osimhen, and Morata now in the squad, Galatasaray's attacking options appear limitless.
These players, all proven goal-scorers in some of Europe’s biggest leagues, give the club the firepower to challenge the top teams in Turkey and beyond.
