'In principle he can play' - Club Brugge coach confirms Onyedika is ready for battle v Aston Villa

Club Brugge’s coach, Nicky Hayen, has confirmed that Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika is fit and available for selection ahead of their upcoming match against Aston Villa. 

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Hayen revealed that Onyedika trained with the team on Monday and is in good shape to feature in the crucial fixture.

"In principle, he can play," Hayen said when asked about the player's availability. 

The confirmation comes as a significant boost for Club Brugge, as they prepare for the challenging encounter against the Premier League side.

Onyedika, who has been an integral part of Brugge’s midfield this season, will add strength and versatility to the squad if he plays. 

His presence could prove vital in what promises to be an exciting clash against Villa, with both teams seeking a positive result.

The Nigerian international has been recovering from a minor issue but appears to be back on track, ready to contribute to his team’s efforts in the upcoming match.
