Official: Talented Super Eagles-eligible midfielder signs new deal with Tottenham Hotspur
Published: April 02, 2025
With a statement on the official website, Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur have announced that highly-rated midfielder Callum Olusesi has committed his future by putting pen to paper on a new long-term deal.
Olusesi has been rewarded with a new deal a year after signing his first professional contract with The Lilywhites.
The new deal will keep the Super Eagles-eligible central midfielder at Tottenham Hotspur until the end of the 2028-2029 season.
A product of the Spurs academy, he rose through the ranks to make his first team debut on January 23, 2025, against TSG Hoffenheim in the Europa League.
Overall, he has received twenty-one call-ups for Tottenham Hotspur's first team games, comprising twelve in the Premier League, five in the Europa League, three in the Carabao Cup, and one in the FA Cup.
The London native has caps for England at U16, U17 and U18 levels, and became provisionally cap-tied to the 1966 world champions by featuring in a European U17 Championship qualifier against Faroe Islands in November 2023.
Olusesi played a key role in the Tottenham Hotspur squad that secured both the U17 and U18 Premier League Cup titles in 2022-2023 before making his U21s debut late in their Premier League 2 championship-winning season last year.
This season, he has captained Tottenham Hotspur's development squad on multiple occasions, scoring four goals in nine appearances in the Premier League 2.
