'Victor will go there' - Insider reveals Osimhen's likely destination amid Chelsea, Man Utd, Al Hilal links
Published: June 05, 2025
Galatasaray insider Serdar Ali Çelikler believes Victor Osimhen is likely to join Al Hilal, despite speculation linking the Nigerian striker with Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United.
Manchester United held internal discussions about Victor Osimhen as a potential solution to their ongoing issues in the No. 9 position.
Chelsea were heavily linked with the Nigerian striker last summer, but a deal collapsed after the Conference League winners failed to agree personal terms with the former African Footballer of the Year.
Osimhen enjoyed a sensational season, netting 37 goals and delivering eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions for Galatasaray.
His prolific form played a pivotal role in helping the Yellow-Reds clinch a domestic double, winning both the Süper Lig and the Turkish Cup.
However, his standout performances have attracted interest from clubs around the globe, casting doubt over his future ahead of the start of the 2025/2026 campaign.
Speaking on the Neo Spor Youtube channel, via habersarikirmizi, Çelikler expressed confidence that the 26-year-old striker is Saudi-bound unless there's a dramatic change.
"Unless Al-Hilal withdraws its offer, Victor Osimhen will go there," said Çelikler.
"Galatasaray cannot pay a salary of 35 million Euros, as far as I know and see. If Osimhen stays at Galatasaray for a salary of 20 million Euros, then we say 'Well done'. Now Osimhen has a week to 10 days to make a decision."
Al Hilal are looking to sign Victor Osimhen to bolster their attacking lineup ahead of the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup in June, which kicks off later this month.
Reports suggest the Saudi club has tabled an offer worth €30 million per year (approximately ₦54 billion), a figure that Galatasaray cannot match.
