Eintracht Frankfurt are in advanced discussions with Newcastle United over the signing of Danish-Nigerian striker William Osula before the close of the summer transfer window.
Osula, who joined Newcastle from Sheffield United in the summer of 2024, has found opportunities limited at St. James' Park.
Since his move, the 22-year-old has scored just three goals and provided two assists in 22 across all competitions.
According to Daily Mail's Craig Hope, Frankfurt are keen to finalise a deal worth around £30 million, with Newcastle expected to insert a buy-back clause.
Despite Alexandre Isak's imminent exit to Liverpool, Osula is expected to push for the move, as he would likely remain behind Nick Woltemade and Brentford's Yoane Wissa, who are both in talks to join the club before the close of the summer window.
Born in Aarhus, Denmark, the young forward has represented Denmark at U19 and U21 levels but remains eligible to play for Nigeria's Super Eagles, as he has yet to feature in a senior competitive game.
A move to Frankfurt is seen as a crucial step for his career, offering him more regular game time and boosting his chances of establishing himself at international level.
