Celtic Goalkeeper, Fraser Foster Praises EFE AMBROSE
Published: December 17, 2012
Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Foster has praised Nigeria international Efe Ambrose for his defensive solidity in the Champions League.
The Glasgow giants have booked their place in the knock - out rounds of Europe's elite club competition after finishing second in their group, only three points behind group winners Barcelona.
Foster told dailyrecord.co.uk: ''Efe Ambrose has been brilliant since arriving while Kelvin Wilson has been unbelievable.
''The back four have been tremendous. They’ve been chucking their bodies on the line to make things easier for me.''
Ambrose, who is expected to make Nigeria's roster for the African Cup, played 5 matches in the Champions League.
His stand - out performance was against Barcelona at the Nou Camp, with UEFA naming the defender in its prestigious Team of the Week for the third round of games.
