Four goals already: Osimhen scores another brace for Galatasaray in win against Erzurumspor

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen continued his impressive start to the campaign with another decisive performance in Galatasaray’s 4-0 victory over Erzurumspor on Friday night.

The Nigeria international, who started the campaign brilliantly with a brace on the opening day, scored another two goals and provided an assist to ensure the Yellow-Reds secured a comfortable victory.

Osimhen provided the assist for Galatasaray’s second goal in the 20th minute after Roland Sallai had opened the scoring for the visitors.

The Nigerian attacker, who found himself in a good shooting position, decided to lay the ball off perfectly to Yunus Akgün, who calmly finished into the bottom corner.

The 27-year-old continued his decisive performance and found the back of the net towards the end of the first half.

Osimhen capitalized on a mistake from Matija Ornjak to calmly slot the ball into the net and extend Galatasaray’s advantage in the 45th minute.

He completed his brace at minute 80 with another impressive finish.

The former African Footballer of the Year fired the ball into the roof of the net after receiving a pass from Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Sara.

The goals take Osimhen’s tally to four goals in his opening two matches of the new 2026/2027 Super Lig campaign, continuing his incredible goalscoring form since joining Galatasaray.

The former Napoli striker had also started the campaign strongly, scoring twice to help Galatasaray secure a 2-2 draw against Çorum on the opening day.
