Kelechi Iheanacho continued his impressive scoring run despite Bursaspor's disappointing 2-1 home defeat to Mardin 1969 Spor in the Turkish First League on Sunday evening.
After falling behind 1-0, Bursaspor fought back to restore parity through the Nigeria international, who produced a superb strike from outside the penalty area to make it 1-1.
The goal extended Iheanacho’s scoring streak to nine consecutive games for Bursaspor in the Turkish First League, taking his tally to 14 goal contributions (12 goals, 2 assists).
Bursaspor's hopes of salvaging a point were dashed in the fourth minute of stoppage time when Zdravko Dimitrov found the net to secure a dramatic 2-1 victory.
Iheanacho has now scored in 10 consecutive games for club and country this season.
The 2013 Fifa U17 World Cup Golden Ball winner also found the net in the Super Eagles' recent 3-3 draw against Russia in Nizhny Novgorod, opening the scoring in the 10th minute of the entertaining encounter.
With 17 goals scored in the 2026–27 campaign, Bursaspor have relied heavily on the influence of Iheanacho, who has contributed to 82.4 per cent of their goals.
