Former Nigeria U20 international Akor Adams ended a six-month goal drought in the Ligue 1 as Montpellier HSC and Nantes shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw at Stade de la Mosson-Mondial 98.
Two minutes into the contest, Adams finished off a counter attack to put Montpellier ahead but the lead did not last long as Matthis Abline replied for the visitors five minutes later.
In what was his 29th appearance of the season, Adams was replaced by Yann Karamoh midway through the second half,.
Before the visit of Nantes, the former Lillestrom man had not scored in the Ligue 1 since October 29 when he bagged a brace against Toulouse.
Adams has scored a total of 10 goals and provided 2 assists in 30 appearances across all club competitions for Montpellier, whom he joined in August 2023.
Moscow-born striker German Onugkha continued his rich vein of form by netting for the third game in a row as Vejle BK were held to a 1-1 draw by Lyngby in a Danish Superliga Relegation Round match.
Onugkha salvaged a point for Vejle BK with a header after a brilliant delivery Into the box from Juwara in the 49th minute.
The 27-year-old's equalizer against Lyngby has brought his goal tally to 10 for the 2023-2024 campaign, placing him just two goals behind Patrick Mortensen, the current leading scorer in the Superliga.
