Official: Viking Sign Osita Chikere On Three - Year Contract

Norwegian club Viking have completed the signing of striker Osita Henry Chikere, who arrives from Sunshine Stars, Akure.
The 22 - year - old, born February 3, 1991 impressed manager Kjell Jonevret during trials and has penned a three - year contract which keeps him at the club until July, 2016.
''This is basically a long term project. Osita will likely need time to adapt to the Premier League and life in a new country. We can not exclude that Osita deliver immediately, but we does not expect this,'' CEO Arne Larsen økland told the official website, viking-fk.no.
For the 2013 campaign, Osita Chikere will play with the number 18 jersey.
With 25 points from 15 matches, Viking occupy the 5th position in the Norwegian top division.
