Valenciennes Pull Out Of Izunna Uzochukwu Deal
Published: July 11, 2013
Valenciennes from the top division in France have had a good eye for Izunna Uzochukwu this summer but had an offer rejected by FC Midtjylland .
The club tried to reduce Izunna's asking price but was unsuccessful, and therefore the Nigerian midfielder will remain in Jutland for now.
''There is a big difference between what Valenciennes are willing to pay and what FC Midtjylland demand, so it does not appear that an agreement can be reached.
''We look at other options, and if it fails, then finalize Izunna his contract and sign with a new club in January valid from summer 2014,''says Izunna's agent Andrew Zolotko to bold.dk.
FC Midtjylland were demanding 1 million euros for Izunna Uzochukwu who has one year left on his contract.
23-year-old Izunna Uzochukwu has played 108 Premier League matches for FC Midtjylland since 2009.
