Chikeluba Ofoedu Negotiating With Karsiyaka, Oak Zeel Set To Pocket 100 Million Naira

Allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm that Chikeluba Ofoedu is on the verge of inking a deal with Karşıyaka, who finished 9th in the 1 League last season.

The 20 - year - old striker was not offered a contract by 1461 Trabzon at the expiration of his loan deal at the end of the 2012 - 2013 campaign.

Negotiations continue apace between the leadership of Karşıyaka and Ofoedu.  And a deal should be sealed in a matter of days.

Chikeluba Ofoedu's impending move to Karşıyaka will be sweet music to the ears of Oak Zeel FC of Enugu, who own the economic right of the player.

In other words, the Nigerian club could gain about 500,000 euros (approximately 100 million naira) being their valuation of Ofoedu.

The youngster, touted as the 'New Obafemi Martins' netted 7 goals in 25 appearances last term for 1461 Trabzon.

But it remains a mystery why he was not acquired outright from Oak Zeel FC.
