The Portuguese club has given him permission to extend his summer vacation after he represented Nigeria at the Fifa Confederations Cup which ended exactly two weeks ago.
According to a statement from Braga, Echiejile is expected to resume training on July 25.
But the 25 - year - old defender is in Portugal for another reason. He has not hidden his desire to leave the League Cup winners before the close of the transfer market, and wants to know the decision of the club.
According to sports daily A Bola, Sporting Braga have rejected several offers for Echiejile because the bids were below his three million euros valuation.
It is understood that Besiktas(Turkey), Norwich (England) and Stuttgart (Germany) are monitoring the situation of Uwa Echiejile, whose contract with the Archbishops expires in June 2014.
