Aminu Umar Reaches Agreement In Principle With SamsunsporTop scorer at the African Youth Championship Aminu Umar has reached an agreement in principle to join Samsunspor.

The Flying Eagles striker has signed contract papers and will travel to Bolu, Turkey  in the coming days to link up with his new teammates at a training camp.

A top Nigerian agent, who scouts for a Swiss based agency, had proposed the 18 - year - old striker to a couple of clubs in the Super League - Young Boys, Grasshopper, Luzern and FC Basel.

A visa hitch prevented Umar from traveling to Turkey last week, but that has now been resolved.

The leadership of Samsunspor is also working on acquiring the Dolphins midfielder Abdul Ajagun in the summer transfer market.

Simon Zenke, Akeem Agbetu and Ekigho Ehiosun had previously defended the colors of The Red Lightning.
