Hodd Coach, Lars Arne Nilsen: Difficult Game Without Latifu And Sivert
Published: July 25, 2013
Lars Arne Nilsen, manager of cup winners Hodd, has confirmed that former Nigeria youth international Akeem Latifu will be unavailable for selection when the Norwegians confront FC Aktobe in the Europa League on Thursday.
Nilsen's son, 21 - year - old midfielder Sivert Heltn , did not travel with the squad to Aktobe after he was refused a visa to Kazakhstan by the authorities.
''Of course, it will be a difficult game without the two important players - Latifu and Silvert,'' Lars Arne Nilsen told allnigeriasoccer.com.
The Norway embassy in Kazakhstan did not grant visas to two players of FC Aktobe- Alexander Geynrikh and Timur Kapadz - meaning both missed the first leg match held last week.
''How I am going to approach this game, the most important in the club's history? That is a difficult question,'' adds the 49 - year - old gaffer.
