On the eve of Skënderbeu Korçë's UEFA Champions League third qualifying round fixture against Kazakhstan champions Shakhter Karagandy, Nurudeen Orelesi has shared his thoughts and impressions on the game which will be played at Astana Arena (Astana).
'' Since the day after the qualifying match against Neftçi I have removed it from my mind and I am focused only on the next against Shakhter .
'' This will be our focus in the next two weeks and will make preparations according to the outcome of this meeting. I am expecting a nice match and emotions are certainly present,'' Orelesi told panorama - sport.com.
Until Sunday when the team studied videos of Shakhter Karagandy, the 24 - year - old seemed not to know much about the opponents.
'' For the opponent did not have any information until yesterday, but after analyzing the videos we now have suitable material to cope with this team.
'' I can only say that we will attempt to qualify. We are favored that we play the return match at home, where fans will help assist in qualification.
'' Based on the analysis we have done, I can say that the team is strong and deserves respect. They eliminated BATE,'' said Orelesi.
Nurudeen Orelesi's 116th minute goal last Tuesday was enough to take Skënderbeu Korçë to the next stage of the Champions League.
