Official : Chikeluba Ofoedu Moves To Karsiyaka

With a statement on its official website, Turkish First League side Karsiyaka has announced the signing of free agent Chikeluba Ofoedu.
The 20 - year - old striker underwent a medical examination on Friday before penning a two - year contract with the club located in Izmir.
Chikeluba Ofoedu has experience playing in Turkey, having defended the colors of 1461 Trabzon last season.
Though he impressed , with 7 goals in 25 matches, the leadership of 1461 Trabzon did not offer him a permanent contract at the end of the 2012 - 2013 campaign.
Ofoedu, regarded as the next Obafemi Martins , is expected to join the training camp of Karsiyaka in Bolu in the coming days.
Karsiyaka finished ninth in the First League last season.
