Longinus Uwakwe Rejected Proposals From Asia, Malta

Defensive midfielder Longinus Uwakwe has revealed that he snubbed offers from other teams before deciding to pitch his tent with Polish basement side MKS  Puszcza on Thursday.

'' I signed a one - year deal with MKS  Puszcza . I was a free agent before signing.

'' There were proposals from clubs in Asia, Germany and Malta but I feel this is the best move for me now,'' says Uwakwe to allnigeriasoccer.com.

26 - year - old Longinus Uwakwe represented Garbarni Krakow, for whom he netted 1 goal in 28 matches.

Spotting number five jersey, Uwakwe made his league debut on Friday against Chojniczanka Chojnice.
