Valery Karpin Gutted He Could Lose Emmanuel Emenike To Fenerbahce

Valery Karpin, manager of Spartak Moscow has admitted that he is gutted that Nigeria striker Emmanuel Emenike could leave the club for Fenerbahce this month.

'' Emenike is like a son . Yes, exactly. Of course , the news did not please me, Emenike - a great footballer. But at the same time I understand it.

''  I humanly wish Emenike does not leave, but what can you do, if he wants to go to Turkey? Do not force a lock. I am sure if the move takes place, the club will do everything to make the team does not become weaker.

'' It is hardly very useful for a football player who does not have much desire to play for this team.

'' Emenike  in the last championship scored five goals - not what we expected of him,'' Karpan said to Sport-express.ru

After emerging top scorer at February's African Cup of Nations, Emmanuel Emenike has been highly sought after by European plus Asia teams.

Apart from the interest from Turkey, he is believed to be wanted by clubs in England and China.
