Updated: Valerenga Willing To Sell Fegor Ogude
Published: August 05, 2013
Valerenga sporting manager, Stein Hoff has told Portuguese media that clubs are monitoring the situation of Nigeria international Fegor Ogude but have not backed up their interests with official bids.
Reports surfaced last week that teams in Spain (Real Betis ) and Portugal (Sporting Lisbon) are amongst the teams mulling over signing the 26 - year - old defensive midfielder.
The Valerenga brass knows this is the moment to make a decision , either sell the player this summer and recoup some investment or extend his contract which expires in June 2014.
'' I've read about the interest of Sporting and also from Betis in Spain.
'' The only thing I can say is that there is still nothing concrete, although the club is receptive to negotiate the player,'' says Stein Hoff to A Bola.
Fegor Ogude, who represented Nigeria at the 2013 African Cup of Nations and Fifa Confederations Cup, is attractive to suitors as he can be deployed as an attacking or defensive midfielder.
