Emmanuel Emenike : I Can Say That Karpin Was Like A Father To Me

Speaking to the official website of Spartak Moscow, Nigeria international Emmanuel Emenike has thanked the club and manager Valery Karpin for believing in him and aiding his development.

'' In Spartak, I spent two unforgettable years, was truly happy.

'' I have developed a great relationship with the team, coaches, and Spartak fans - it's something special, the very best in Russia! With warmth will remember this time.

''  But now came the moment when I move to Fenerbahce, going back to my former club.

Adding to his previous statement, the African Cup of Nations highest goalscorer said :

'' In Spartak, I have progressed as a player, I was able to realize the best quality for what I want to say a huge thank you to the club and team. But now I have decided to move to Turkey.

'' Karpin said that he treats me like a son? I can say that Karpin was like a father to me.

'' Always supported me, really appealed to me as a son. We have developed warm relations! He is very pleasant to talk to people.''

Emmanuel Emenike is already in Istanbul to undergo a medical examination with Fenerbahce.
