WORLD EXCLUSIVE : Godfrey Oboabona Is On His Way To Rizespor

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Sunshine Stars are in advanced talks with Turkish Super League newcomers Rizespor over the transfer of one of Africa's brightest prospects Godfrey Oboabona.

Rizespor are in the market for a central defender and the number priority of manager Rıza çalımbay is Nigeria international and Sunshine Stars skipper Godfrey Oboabona.

There is no point of conflict between Sunshine Stars and Rizespor and the central defender is expected to be on the plane to Turkey to formalize the contract after Nigeria's friendly against South Africa in Durban on August 14.

The deal that will see Godfrey Oboabona , 22 , join Rizespor was brokered by influential Turkish agent Mustafa Sezgin , who also represents another Nigeria international Uche Kalu.

This summer market, Oboabona had earlier been linked with Gaziantepspor but it now appears that it was just a rumor.
