EXCLUSIVE: Glasgow Celtic's Efe Ambrose Scouted By Premier League Team
Published: August 10, 2013
According to leaks gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com's editorial staff, English Premier League teams are considering offering Celtic utility man Efe Ambrose a contract in future.
An unnamed Premier League club dispatched one of their scouts to Sweden this past Wednesday to run the rule over the 24 - year - old Nigeria international when Celtic traveled to face Elfsborg.
Efe Ambrose has repeatedly stated in recent days that he would love to continue his collaboration with Celtic.
That commitment will be tested in the winter transfer market should The Bhoys fail to qualify for the knock out rounds of the UEFA Champions League.
Swansea are known to be long term admirers of the former Kaduna United star.
But Michael Laudrup's side are not the only team pursuing Efe Ambrose as West Brom are genuinely interested in his signature in the January transfer window.
Under contract with Celtic until June 2015, Efe is valued at 5 million euros by this portal.
