Wolves Shun =N=45M Offer For Sunday Mba
Published: August 12, 2013
Officials of Warri Wolves have turned down a N45m offer for Super Eagles midfielder, Sunday Mba, insisting the Nigerian international is not a $250, 000 player.
The unnamed Russian club had through their agent, Brian Humphreys, made an offer of $250, 000 (or N45m) for the Nigerian player which the Globacom Premier League side refused to entertain.
“My partner secured a deal for Mba in Russia and the club was ready to pay $250, 000 for his clearance,”the agent’s Nigerian representative told local media
“But when I made contact with Warri Wolves management, they were not ready to listen, claiming the offer was too poor for a player like Mba.”
Mba has been at the center of several transfer speculations with several European clubs breathing on his neck to have the free-scoring midfielder in their ranks.
