Oguchi Onyewu Training With Sporting Lisbon Reserve Team

According to Portuguese sports daily A Bola, Sporting Lisbon might unilaterally terminate the contract of USA international Oguchi Onyewu.
The experienced defender had a knee operation in the United States without the permission of club medics.
For a start, the 31 - year - old has been sent to train with the B Team of Sporting Lisbon.
Due to his lack of first team opportunities, Oguchi Onyewu spent last season on loan at Malaga.
He has suited up 17 times for Sporting Lisbon in the Primeira Liga since his arrival in the summer of 2011.
