Scandinavia powerhouse FC Copenhagen have completed the signing of Nigerian striker Fanendo Adi on a four - year contract, writes the official website.<br /><br />The 22 - year - old, once touted as the 'Next Nwankwo Kanu' last played for Slovak club AC Trencin.<br /><br />Fanendo Adi has expressed joy that FC Copenhagen have offered him a contract.<br /><br />Speaking to the official website, he said : '' I very much look forward to representing FC Copenhagen and try my hand at a big club in a league and a country I've only heard good things about. <br /><br />'' It was not a hard choice, because I feel that FCK is the right step for me now.''<br /><br />Fanendo Adi added : Although I am still young and can get better, I have already tried a lot in my career and I know that I am here in Copenhagen will be forced to give my best and work hard every day to get the chance to contribute to the team in Scandinavia's biggest club.
