Fenerbahçe attacker Emmanuel Emenike has apologized to the supporters for missing a clear opportunity to score in last weekend's game against Konyaspor .
If he had buried that chance, Konyaspor might not have had the opportunity to turn the game around in their favor.
Fanatik.com.tr quoted the 26 - year - old as saying : '' I'm so sorry for missing that goal. I don't want to miss that kind of goal in my first match.
'' If I scored that the game would have been over. Anyway, we are looking forward to the Arsenal game.
